AvionTek GmbH was established in 2009 in Bavaria, Germany, as spin-off of the ESA-BIC Bavaria Aviation Incubator. The company was established as part of a series of nationally and internationally funded research and technological development (RTD) projects and has received awards from the European Commission. Today it is an independent SME (small / medium-sized enterprise) that owns all the rights (IPR and licenses) of all its products and industry solutions.
